camControl Webcam app for Linux released

Built with the v4l2Camera open source library, camControl is a free Linux app, supporting both ARM64 and AMD64 processor platforms.

Generic UVC camera control app, providing access to all USB accessible controls and image feeds for UVC compatible cameras.

Use it to adjust and control your webcam even in the middle of a video conference.

Can preview and stream Motion-JPEG, YUV 422, YUV 420 and 16-bit grey-scale formats from UVC cameras (built in conversion for most formats but H.264/H.265 format)

Can snapshot JPG, PNG and BMP snapshots

Can cast Motion-JPEG video streams via HTTP multi-part streams

Can capture AVI-MJPEG video files to file (didn’t want any library dependencies on install so no MP4 capture right now)
